Squire
Pete” Lawrence

 b. 5-17-1867   m. 1894   d. 6-13-1936

Born in Adams County Pennsylvania, many said Harry (or later named Squire Pete) had a Hobo streak in him since he would often travel all around and eventually make his way back home. One such trip took him to Cleveland and his affection for cigars enabled him to master the cigar manufacturing and trade. In 1891, at the age of 24, he moved to Chattanooga Tennessee and became the Manger of a Cigar company. Then later a local Judge and Justice of the Peace.
